Fall In The Pacific Northwest

If you blink you may miss it
The transition from summer to fall
One day the trees are full and green
The next they're bare and dull

But if you're quick, you just might see
The reds and oranges unfold
As the leaves fall slowly to the ground
A story will be told

Of the biting wind that nips the nose
Of the sound of crunching under toes
